My Lab Puppy Keeps Whining

Hey i have a new puppy. hes 2 in a half months aold and we just got him 2-3 days ago.. we got him a pott training crate for while were at work.. well hes like whining.. how can i gwet him to understand that thats his den. his little hang spot. i want him to like being in there! Help!
