My Lab Puppy Is Not Affectionate

My Girlfriend and I recently brought home a beautiful male yellow Labrador puppy who was 9 weeks old when we got him. He has been in the house for a little over 2 weeks now and we have both noticed he is not very affectionate towards us.

My lab puppy is not affectionate. She'll let me scratch her, and belly rubs she'll lay still for as long as you want to rub.
