My Answer: Hi. This is definitely not acceptable behavior, and you need to be very firm in correcting your pup. My Dog Gus is extremely crazy at times going after feet of my 15 yr old, he just wont stop and he is like this everytime a new person comes in or other dogs. He gets so out of control we have to seperate him, every time. He sometimes will attach or nip at me when i try to get a hold of him to tell him no or when i am seperating him.

My 2 year old black Lab since she was just a puppy likes chewing and retrieving sticks and branches. She will delimb it like a chain saw. When she is outside I’ll tell he to get a stick and if there isn’t one around she’ll go find one and bring it to me. My lab puppy has just been able to go for walks, on his first walk we didn't get far at all with him trying to go back home every few minutes. We have an older lab as well so for his second walk we took them both together the puppy was slightly better and managed to follow him, (even though this took a long time and he did keep stopping). He growls at me anytime I go near him. I have never had a dog hate me before yet I really feel this dog does. Our other lab is a joy, so sweet, so kind, so smart, and so willing to please.
