My Chihuahua Thinks Her Dead Puppy Is Still Alive
My room mate's dog had 8 puppies a couple of days ago. I discovered one dead this afternoon while feeding the mother. She lets me touch the living puppies, but when I tried to reach to the back of her dog house where the dead one was, she growled. She clearly has it separated, but I'm not sure if she really understands that the lil guy is dead or if she thinks she can lick it back to health.
