My Boxer Puppy Keeps Throwing Up

My boxer is a male brindle and is 5 months old.(if any of that helps) he has been throwing up I think about everyday this past week. And today he has just thrown up 3 times in maybe 20 minutes. What is wrong with him. Please don't tell me take him to the vet which i know a lot of people would say but tell if this is normal or should I do something with his food or something like that.
